This video looks like it's from a German "Know How" show.  First, two people are on a large turntable.  Yes, it looks silly, but watch when the man tries to shoot a water gun straight across.  Then there are children on a merry-go-round trying to roll a ball straight across.  It doesn't work so well!  Good example of the coriolis effect.
